Most cruise lines sailing out of U.S. cruise ship ports require lawsuit filing in the state of Florida. Since the majority of lawsuits involving the cruise industry are filing in Florida, choosing a lawyer is a very important issue. The Florida Bar has a wide range of free public access records to assist with finding a lawyer and steering away from lawyers who have a recorded history of Florida Bar discipline records. The press release news report outlines, month by month the total numbers who were disciplined. When the link for each month is clicked, the details of each action for each lawyer in the month are revealed.

January 30, 2015
The Florida Bar announces that the Florida Supreme Court in recent court orders disciplined 22 attorneys; disbarring two, revoking the licenses of three, suspending nine and publicly reprimanding eight. Seven attorneys received more than one form of discipline. Four were placed on probation and three were also ordered to pay restitution.

December 31, 2014

The Florida Bar announces that the Florida Supreme Court in recent court orders disciplined 32 attorneys; disbarring eight, revoking the license of one, suspending 14 and publicly reprimanding nine. Three attorneys received more than one form of discipline. One was ordered to pay restitution and two were placed on probation.

September 30, 2014
The Florida Bar announces that the Florida Supreme Court in recent court orders disciplined 15 attorneys; disbarring three, revoking the licenses of four and suspending eight. One attorney received more than one form of discipline and was also ordered to pay restitution.

August 28, 2014
The Florida Bar announces that the Florida Supreme Court in recent court orders disciplined 22 attorneys; disbarring eight, suspending five and publicly reprimanding nine. Three attorneys received more than one form of discipline. They were also placed on probation.

Seventeen attorneys were suspended and four attorneys were publicly reprimanded. Four attorneys received more than one form of discipline. Two were placed on probation and three were ordered to pay restitution.
